Deputy Energy Minister Sattar Mahmoudi said that upon reciprocal cooperation between Iran and Japan, valuable experiences of the Far East country in the field of earthquake, drought and reinforcement of buildings would be available for Iranians, Irna reported.
He made the remarks in closing ceremony of a conference on national water and sewage operation project by using Japanese technology.
Mahmoudi said that Iran and Japan are cooperating for long time and it has never been cut.
He said that Energy Ministry in the fields of water resources management, management of flood and river, even drought has joint cooperation with Japan.
In the past years, he added, Iranian teams of experts have travelled to Japan to take different courses in projects such as reinforcement of Tehran city during earthquake and emergency water delivery after a quake.
Mahmoudi also said that many of employees in water and sewage organization have passed short training courses for 10 days or two weeks in Japan.
