Georgia to host OSCE conference on legal issues

Georgia's capital Tbilisi will host a two-day conference of the Analytical Center for Interethnic Cooperation and Consultations (ACICC) as part of Switzerland's chairmanship of the OSCE.
The meeting will be attended by the experts and human rights activists conducting activities in the South Caucasus.
The conference will focus on three main issues: judicial independence, the mechanisms of prevention of torture and the existing legal and institutional mechanisms against the hate crimes/ discriminations.
OSCE plans to hold four regional workshops for the civil society representatives in Belgrade, Vienna, Dushanbe and Tbilisi in 2014.
