Georgia’s re-export of cars to Turkmenistan in January 2022 amounted to $2,200 – a decrease of 95.3 percent year-on-year ($47,220), Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The same figure also decreased by 43.2 percent, compared to $3,880 worth of car re-export in December 2021, the report said.
Turkmenistan imported 1 car from Georgia in the reporting period of 2022, which is the same amount as in December 2021, but less than in January 2021 (3 cars).
Meanwhile, Georgia’s total re-export of cars in January 2022 amounted to $36.3 million, which is an increase of 46.3 percent, compared to $24.8 million over the same period of 2021.
