The League of Arab States decided to bar a Syrian delegation from attending a meeting of the pan-Arab organization, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the Reuters news agency.
According to the agency's source, on Saturday the Arab League intends to remove Syria from its ranks.
The anti-governmental protests began in Dera'a, south of Syria in mid-March, and then spread to other regions.
