(ForUm) - The Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights and Welfare Protection (Rospotrebnadzor) started checking alcohol products imported from Ukraine, Cabinet's press office reported.
In particular, the stuff origin, production technology and the produce's meeting the safety demands will be checked, reports Trend.

In 2005 Ukraine exported 6.3 mln decalitres of vodka and alcoholic beverage drinks to Russia to the tune of 136.5mln USD, with the general amount of 48.3 mln decaliters of produced alcohol drinks. In 2005 80 percent of Russia's imported alcohol drinks came from Ukraine.
