Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to visit Kazan in late December, where he hopes to hold a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, Turkish ambassador to Moscow Umit Yardim said, RIA Novosti reported.
He said that Russia and Turkey closely and regularly cooperate.
"The two leaders intend to meet at the Russian-Turkish high level council in Kazan in late December," Yardim said at an international conference in Moscow.
