Transshipment of goods from Portugal by Turkish ports in January 2022 has been published, Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure reported Trend on Tuesday.
Turkish ports transported 109,698 tons of cargo from Portugal in January 2022.
Ships under the Turkish flag delivered 3,000 tons of cargo from Portugal to domestic seaports, and ships under the flags of other countries delivered 97 421 tons.
Ships under the flag of Portugal delivered 2 277 tons of cargo to Turkish ports during this period. Turkish ports handled 234,495 tons of transit cargo from Portugal in January 2022.
Turkish ports handled a total of 33.3 million tons of cargo. During this period, cargo transportation by ships under the flag of Turkey amounted to 2.4 million tons.
Cargo transportation through the ports of Turkey by ships under the flags of other countries amounted to 30.9 million tons.
Turkish ports handled 7.6 million tons of transit cargo during this period.
The ports of Turkey handled 386.3 million tons of cargo in 2021. Cargo transportation by ships under the flag of Turkey amounted to 29.9 million tons during the specified period.
Cargo transportation through the ports of Turkey by ships under the flags of other countries amounted to 356.3 million tons.
