BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 2. The Turkish port of Gemlik received 835 ships from January through March 2022, Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
According to the ministry, out of the total number of ships accepted by the port, 268 were under the flag of Turkey, 567 - under the flags of other countries.
The ports of Turkey received 4,079 ships in March 2022.
Some 1,210 of the total number of ships accepted by the ports were under the flag of Turkey, 2,869 were under the flags of other countries.
Turkish ports received 11,946 ships from January through March 2022.
During this period, out of the total number of ships accepted by Turkish ports, 3,533 were under the flag of Turkey, 8,413 were under the flags of other countries
According to the results of 2021, the ports of Turkey received 51,199 ships, including 15,120 under the Turkish flag.
The remaining 36,079 vessels received by Turkish ports were under the flags of other countries.
