BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 7. Türkiye's steel exports to China decreased 44.7 percent year-on-year to $4.3 million from January through February 2024, Trend reports, referring to Türkiye's Trade Ministry.
"Türkiye exported $1.4 million worth of steel products to China in February this year, which is 62.9 percent less than in February last year," the statement from the ministry reads.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of steel products increased 15.8 percent year-on-year to $2.5 million from January through February 2024.
"In February this year, Türkiye exported $1.4 million worth of steel products, a 31.2 percent increase compared to February last year," the statement of the ministry emphasized.
To note, in the last 12 months (from February 2023 through February 2024), Türkiye exported $15.2 billion worth of steel products.
