TurkmenGallaOnumlery (Turkmen Grain Association) plans to sell 200,000 metric tons of the first class wheat flour that exceeded the country's domestic demand, at foreign markets through the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, according to the decree signed by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The document aims to further increase the country's export potential to sell wheat flour in connection with an increase in its production as a result of measures implemented in the agricultural sector.
In 2015, it is planned to provide the wheat crop in the volume of 1.6 million metric tons in Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan said earlier.
Turkmenistan began to export the surplus of food grain for the first time in 2011.
