Iran has gained the ability to commercialize its nuclear industry, according to Islamic Republic president Hassan Rouhani.

Rouhani made the remarks on Nov. 8 while addressing a ceremony marking the official opening of Iran's 21st Press Exhibition in Tehran, the president's official website reported.

During nuclear talks with the world powers, the Islamic Republic not only had its nuclear rights assured, but also took steps to enter nuclear technology and business markets, Rouhani said.

"Now, Iran's centrifuges not only will not stop, but will be equipped with the highest technology," he noted.

He further said that Iran will start selling enriched UF6 uranium and importing yellowcake in the coming weeks.

Rouhani added that he appreciated the efforts of the Iranian nuclear negotiating team, saying under the nuclear deal Iran's Arak heavy water reactor will remain in place and be modernized, in coordination with the P5+1.

According to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, agreed to between Iran and the P5+1 group of countries made up of the UK, US, France, Germany, Russia, and China, Tehran is committed to curbing its disputed nuclear program, in exchange for lifting most international sanctions.
