Russia remains Tajikistan's major strategic partner, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon stated on Friday, Interfax reported.
"Tajikistan will continue strengthening its relations with Russia as the major strategic partner," Rahmon said.
He expressed the country's commitment to the policy of open doors which means the possibility of being friends with all countries while following the national interests.
Rahmon expressed the importance of Tajikistan's cooperation with the post-Soviet countries in military, political, humanitarian and economic spheres.
