One soldier was killed and 11 injured in fresh attacks targeting security forces in northern Sinai overnight, a security official said, dpa reported.
A police station and the security headquarters in Al-Arish city were attacked by rocket-propelled grenades, while a bomb went off behind a police station, injuring people in a nearby mosque.
Security camps in northern Sinai's Rafah and Sheikh Zuwaid towns were also attacked.
