The Uzbek Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications held a meeting with representatives of the Korean company, where the sides mulled cooperation in the field of developing the national geo-information software, based on its own decisions, the ministry said.

The parties agreed to cooperate in the development of geo-information systems, drastically reducing dependence on foreign products, localizing and creating national information systems with possible exports of software and relevant services.

GEOTWO CO LTD , founded in 2000, is a leader in the land management and spatial information industry in Korea.

The uniqueness of GEOTWO's solutions is that they are an analog of the well-known ArcGIS software product, from the American manufacturer ESRI, and successfully implemented in the state bodies of Korea and other countries.
