ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, November 30. The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan increased significantly in 2022, reaching $535.39 million, Trend reports.
According to Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee, these values are 5.8 times greater than the combined trade turnover of the two countries in 2012, which was $91.6 million. Plus, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan has more than fivefold increased since 2021, when it was $105 million.
Furthermore, trade transactions between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan amounted to more than $1.7 billion between 2012 and 2022.
Meanwhile, the ultimate trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan increased by 1.8 times from January through October 2023, reaching $710.37 million, a remarkable increase from $377.23 million over the same period the previous year.
