Family Moved from Their Apartment in Baku

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. К.Zarbaliyeva / The family consisting of five members was moved from their apartment in the Nasimi District of Baku. The family has been live in the apartment for 10 years. Contradiction occurred between the members of the family and police officers during resettlement.

Vugar Adigozalov, the court supervisor of Nasimi District, said the Supreme Court made decision concerning resettlement of Tair Aliyev, Vahid Guliyev and Ramilla Guliyeva illegally residing in the apartment on 4 September.

Ramilla Guliyeva attempted to commit suicide. The decision of the court does not envisage compensation to the family.

The family refuses to move from the apartment saying they have no other place to move to. Ramilla Guliyeva charges Tamilla Ibrahimova, the deputy chairman of the Consul firm with illegal acquiring of court resolution.

According to Adigozalov, the members of the family showed resistance against police officers.

Since 1989 the building was registered as emergency. Fourteen families resided in the building were moved and provided with new apartments.

Presently, the Public Prosecutor Office holds investigation due to illegal registration.
