Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / The 4th meeting of the Civil Solidarity Party (CSP) of Azerbaijan is scheduled for 3 November 2007, Sabir Rustamkhanli, the Chairman of the Party, said on 21 September.
During the meeting Rustamkhanli will nominate his candidature for the presidency.
Some changes will be injected in the CSP's Charter but the political course of the party still remains. "We are an opposition party and will fight for power and the development of our country," the chairman said.
CSP was founded by one of the leaders of the National Liberation Movement of Azerbaijan in 1992. The party took part at the parliamentary elections in 1995, 2000 and 2005, in the presidential elections in 2003 and in the municipal elections in 1999 and 2004. MP Sabir Rustamkhanli, was a candidate at the 2003 presidential elections.
