Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. E.Huseynli / About 50 investigation cases on corruption were submitted to courts, Rustam Usubov, the deputy General Prosecutor, said to the Trend Agency on 20 October.
According to Usubov, there are bribery and powers abuse facts among the cases.
The Department on struggle against Corruption at the Public Prosecutor Office of Azerbaijan holds investigation.
Criminal cases have been filed over the facts with the contravening Articles 179 (misappropriation), 308 (powers abuse), 311 (bribery) and 312 (bribery taking) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
