Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 February / corr Trend S.Ilhamgizi / Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev issued an Executive Order on preparation of an action plan to finance 2008-2009 archaeological expeditions by the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
Under the presidential order, the Ministry of Finance must ensure the allocation of one million manats from the President`s Reserve Fund to the Academy.
The President instructed the National Academy of Sciences to define new standards for conducting archaeological expeditions and submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers. The Cabinet was instructed to deal with tasks arising from the order.
President Aliyev also signed an Executive Order increasing financial and technical support to the Azerbaijan National History Museum.
Under the presidential order, the Ministry of Finance must ensure the allocation of one million manats from the President`s Reserve Fund to the Museum.
