Azerbaijan and   Libia  Agree on Energy Cooperation

Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 February / Trend corr. S.Agayeva / Azerbaijan and Litbia have agreed on energy cooperation.

Interest was demonstrated during the meeting by Elmar Mammadyarov, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, with Al -Bagdadi, Lithuanian Prime Minister, and Shukru Gkhanim, the head of Libia National Oil company during Mammadyarov's visit to Tripoli.

The parties discussed the possibility of cooperating in the field of education, health and tourism. An agreement was achieved on mutual investments and they signed an agreement to avoid a double taxation.

Both parties noted the necessity to establish intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
