The President of Georgia firmly promised to grant minimal pensions in Georgia in amount of $100 per month, President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili said, making an annual report on country's situation in the Georgian Parliament.
"Russia's military aggression changed the schedule on pensions. But I promise that this pension will be paid to all our pensioners during our 50 month program," he said.
I know that pensioners are the poorest layer of population, Saakashvili said. "My task was and will be to provide these worthy people with worthy reward. Though our promises are not great but it is something they can live for," President said.
