Georgia, Tbilisi, March 13 / Trend , N.Kirtskhalia/

Georgia and the U.S. demand the immediate implementation of the Geneva agreements to prevent tension in the conflict zones in Georgia, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary Matthew Bryza said after meeting with Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Gigo Bokeria.

"We have discussed the immediate implementation of the agreements. We hope that Russia will take the necessary steps in this direction," Bryza said.

The sides discussed a wide spectrum of Georgian-U.S. relations related to the signing of the Charter on Strategic Partnership in January.

"We support Georgian territorial integrity," Bryza said.

Bokeria called the meeting "significant" and "interesting."

"We have reviewed all challenges. We came to the conclusion that the agreements must be implemented immediately," Bokeria said.

The sides also discussed bilateral relations, he added.
