Head of Force Planning Department of NATO Defence Policy and Planning Division, Frank Boland, met with Georgian Minister of Defense Bacho Akhalaia.
Boland heads a group of appraisers in Georgia. The visit aims to appreciate obligations envisaged by annual national program and planning and survey.
Frank Boland will hold meetings with interior minister and minister of finance, head of Security Council and EU supervising mission, as well as state minister for the European integration within the visit.
Frank Boland has been heading directorate of armed forces development planning of the planning department and NATO defense policy since 2003. He is responsible for armed forces development planning of both members of the alliance and partners-countries.
Boland arrived in Georgia on September 9 and will leave on September 11.
