Ex-Czech President Vaclav Havel's visit to Georgia has been postponed. The Czech Embassy in Tbilisi made the statement this week, the Georgian Presidential Administration told Trend .
They noted that the visit has been postponed due to Havel's health problems.
Havel was to visit Tbilisi March 24-25 to take part in the opening of the European House international NGO.
In 1989-1992, Havel was Czechoslovakia's president. In 1993, after the so-called Velvet Revolution, he became the first Czech president and held the post until 2003.
