Number of traffic accidents decreased in Azerbaijan during the holidays. Number of traffic accidents decreased by 25 percent in the country from March 19 to 29, compared to previous ten days, State Road Police Department (SRPD) Public Relations head Arastun Majidov told Trend .
According to Medjidov, the death-toll during the accidents fell by 31 percent and injuries by 33 percent.
The causes of accidents were driving at high speed and improper passing, the SRPD spokesman said.
According Medjidov, the number of accidents that occurred because of drunk driving was low during the holidays.
