Juan Carlos I's visit to Georgia is significant for bilateral relations, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said.
"His visit has great political and symbolic value," he said.
Vashadze added that during his recent visit to
Spain, his Spanish counterpart Miguel Angel Moratinos helped pass an invitation to visit Tbilisi to the king from the Georgian president.
"The offer was accepted, but the exact date is unknown as talks are still underway," he said.
