An evening dedicated to the Azerbaijani poet Imadeddin Nasimi, was conducted on Nov. 18 at Pushkin House in London. The event was organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Great Britain and the Center for Culture and Friendship of House of Azerbaijan.

An evening dedicated to the Azerbaijani poet Imadeddin Nasimi, was conducted on Nov. 18 at Pushkin House in London. The event was organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Great Britain and the Center for Culture and Friendship of House of Azerbaijan, the Embassy of Azerbaijan told Trend.

The event was attended by British art lovers, representatives of the Azerbaijani and Russian communities in the country. Presenter of the event, the head of Gruntlers Arts group David Perry told about the life and work of Nasimi. He also noted the importance of communicating information about this great poet of the East to the British public.

Later, the head of the House of Azerbaijan Ali Tekin Atalar and ambassador Fakhraddin Gurbanov spoke about the life and work of the great poet. According to them, Nasimi's creativity occupies a special place in literature and philosophy of not only Azerbaijan, but also the East.
