Chairman of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev is on a visit to Argentina upon the Argentinean Federal Public Revenue Administration head Ricardo Echegaray's invitation from Feb. 21, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
The Argentinean Federal Public Revenue Administration unites the services of customs, taxes and social provision.
Aliyev met with the head of the Argentinean Customs Service on the first day of his visit. After discussions, a film on the history and activity of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee was screened.
After the meeting, Aliyev, accompanied by the Argentinean Customs Service's management staff, studied the activity of the Buenos Aires Port's customs terminal.
During the visit, it is scheduled to sign a cooperation agreement on customs, to hold the exhibition "Azerbaijan's Customs Office in Light of World Values," and to present books prepared by the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee. A series of meetings have also been scheduled with government representatives, the public and business circles.
