Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will meet with his Hungarian counterpart Pal Schmitt within his official visit to Hungary.
A meeting of the presidents will be held at the presidential palace, which will host an official welcoming ceremony for Mikheil Saakashvili, the presidential administration said.
Georgia's President will also meet with the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, the parliamentary speaker Laszlo Kover and representatives of the local business circles.
Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Vera Kobalia will also attend the meeting with businessmen.
On May 22, Saakashvili arrived in the city of Kiskoros, where the outstanding Hungarian poet Sandor Petofi was born. The city mayor met the distinguished guest and thanked him for his visit. He said it will further strengthen the relations between the two countries and two peoples.
Saakashvili laid flowers at the bust of the Georgian and Abkhaz poets Grigol Abashidze and Bagrat Shinkuba in Kiskoros. "It is very symbolic that the monuments to the Georgian poet Grigol Abashidze and the Abkhazian poet Bagrat Shinkuba were built side by side. They shared a close friendship," he said.

Saakashvili stressed the fact that Sandor Petofi died in fight with troops of the Russian general Paskevich, conqueror of Georgia. "I considered it my duty to visit the busts of Grigol Abashidze and Bagrat Shinkuba," Saakashvili said.
