Head of the Adjaran Autonomous Republic Levan Varshalomidze received the Azerbaijani Consul General to Adjara, Huseyin Najafov, in Batumi.
During the meeting, the sides discussed Azerbaijani-Adjaran relations and the upcoming tourist season, the Adjara government told Trend.
Adjara expects a large number of Azerbaijani tourists in 2011. Some 244,000 visitors from Azerbaijan have already visited Georgia in 2011.
