Two draft laws on approval of two agreements - an extradition agreement and an agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters will be submitted for discussion at last parliamentary meeting.
In the agreement "On extradition between Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Morocco," the parties undertake to transfer individuals residing in the territory of one of the two countries and wanted by law enforcement agencies of another state to each-other.
Under this agreement, in accordance with the laws of one of the sides, it is envisaged to transfer individuals accused of crimes that involve a penalty of at least two-year imprisonment, and those committing acts punishable under the law of the side, which makes an inquiry, as well as transfer of persons sentenced to at least two-year imprisonment by the courts of the side, which makes an inquiry.
In the agreement "On mutual legal assistance in criminal matters between Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Morocco" the sides assume obligation to provide each other with legal assistance opportunities in all procedures related to the crimes under the authority of the judiciary or the court of the side, which makes an inquiry.
