Advisors to the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Sabine Machl and Andrei Khanzhin discussed implementing agreements reached during the visit of the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Knut Vollebaek in March this year with the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.
The visit aimed to exchange experience in ensuring the rights of national minorities, conducting educational activities in Uzbekistan in this direction.
The views on specific regional issues were exchanged.
The program includes the meetings at the Ministry of Education, National Center for Human Rights and other bodies.
Uzbekistan is an OSCE member since 1992.
