Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Ambassador of Cuba to Azerbaijan Marcelo Caballero Torres in connection with the termination of term of his diplomatic activity in the country on July 17.
Mammadyarov expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Cuba, thanked the Ambassador for his contribution to this relationship and wished him success in his future endeavors.
The ambassador, in turn noted that during the period of activity in Azerbaijan, he made efforts to establish cooperation in various fields between Cuba and Azerbaijan, as well as for development and further expansion of the existing relations and thanked for fruitful collaboration.
