Turkey will present a report on the incident with the Syrian plane en route from Moscow to Damask and forced to land by Turkish fighters at Ankara airport, to International Civil Aviation OrganiSation (ICAO), Zaman newspaper reported with reference to a governmental source.

Turkey will present a report on the incident with the Syrian plane en route from Moscow to Damask and forced to land by Turkish fighters at Ankara airport, to International Civil Aviation OrganiSation (ICAO), Zaman newspaper reported with reference to a governmental source.

The type of freight seized on board and the incident itself will be described in the report. According to the source, Jammer devices used for detection and jamming of radio signals, as well as military communications have been found amongst the cargo.

Turkish air force F-16 fighter jets recently forced a Syrian Airbus A-320 which was flying from Moscow to Damask with 35 passengers on board to land at Ankara airport. Information there was military freight on board was supposed to be the reason.

A search of the Syrian plane lasted approximately five hours. As a result, the Turkish investigators stated that in details to various radio stations, equipment used for military purposes had been discovered.

Turkey gave permission for the plain's departure, but seized the freight discovered on board.
