Providing once a month information about Azerbaijan on its air, a French radio has, in its May issue, broadly covered the meetings held by the delegation led by Mehriban Aliyeva, the First Lady of Azerbaijan, the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the head of the working group of the Milli Majlis for Azerbaijan-France interparliamentary relations, in Paris within the framework of the visit to France, the First Lady's official website reported on May 28, the Azerbaijani First Lady's website reported.

The program's anchors have informed listeners of the meetings held by Mehriban Aliyeva with Chairperson of the French National Assembly Claude Bartolone, Chairperson of the Foreign Relations Committee Élisabeth Guigou, Chairperson of the France-Azerbaijan Friendship Group Tierri Mariani, Chairperson of the European Affairs Committees Danielle Auroi, President of the Jean-Pierre Bell, Chairperson of the France-Caucasus Friendship Group Ambroise Dupont, special representative of the French President for Francophony Yamina Benguigui. It was emphasized that such meetings would contribute to the development of cooperation between the two countries and strengthening the relations between the French and Azerbaijani nations further.

During the program it was noted that the exhibition and concert held in the city of Vannes in order to promote Azerbaijan in France more closely within the framework of the project "Cultural Treasures of Azerbaijan - the Pearl of the Caucasus" implemented with organizational support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and assistance by Azerbaijani embassy in Paris have been welcomed by local residents with much interest.
A program, which emphazised increasing development of relations between Azerbaijan and France, the signing of a document on fraternization between Naftalan and France's L'Aigle cities were widely covered.

It was noted during the program that the French lycée being constructed following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation's initiative would soon be opened in Baku and admission of pupils for the 2013-2014 school year started.
