BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 27. UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld shared a publication in connection with September 27 - Remembrance Day, Trend reports.
“On September 27 - Remembrance Day, we honor the memory of those who died in the war. We wish peace and tranquility to come to the region as soon as possible,” the ambassador wrote on his page on social network X.
To note, according to the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated December 2, 2020, Azerbaijan annually celebrates Remembrance Day on September 27 as a sign of deep respect for Azerbaijani soldiers and officers who heroically fought in the second Karabakh War and gave their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
