Opposition MPs agree to establish fraction at Milli Majlis

“We achieved initial agreement on establishment of the fraction at the Milli Majlis [Parliament],” MP Igbal Agazade, the chairman of Umid Party, told Trend.

Agazade stressed that he held discussions with MPs Sabir Rustamkhanly and Ali Masimov in this regard. According to Agazade, the opposition MPs supported the idea of establishment of the fraction. The chairman also noted that he would raise the issue of the number of the oppositionists at the sitting of the Parliament.

According to Agazade, the number should be reduced from 25 to 12. The issue will be solved after �Azadlig’ (Freedom) candidates participate in the sittings of the Parliament.
