Panakhov said 124 candidates are partaking in these elections.
Upon publishing election bulletins, some candidates refused to continue the fight. Panakhov said their names would be crossed in bulletins. 165 international observers were registered. Local observers total 6,500, from which 1,161 registered by CEC and 4,423 by district election commissions.
Polling stations open t 700AM and close at 700PM. Upon their closure, persons inside may keep voting. Panakhov said votes calculation and protocols compilation shall be performed in presence of observers. The election subtotals will be known by 1000PM.
Afterwards, the election totals will be submitted to the Constitutional Court to approve within 10 days.
