Azeri president receives chair of Interstate aviation Committee

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev receives on 2 June the chairman of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), Tatiana Anodin, Trend reports.

During the talks Anodin awarded the Azerbaijani leader high international price and honorary diploma for special contribution in the development aviation. She noted the prize was awarded by the special international council, while the President was conferred for his special contribution in the development of civil aviation.

I also frankly thank the Azerbaijani government and it is clear for any state leader that the aviation is one of core of progress of both economy and international relationships. The aviation always served to peace and proximity of nations, the chairman of the IAC stressed. Anodin also recalled the statement by former Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev, citing him: Aviation first of all means security.

In his turn the head of state voiced his gratitude for the award, noting the significance that he attaches to the development of aviation. In general the transport infrastructure is developing dynamically, Aliyev underlined, reminding his recent decree on the 2 June professional holiday of Aviation in Azerbaijan.

Now the aviators have their professional holiday. The future development of national economy mostly depends on aviation, Aliyev underlined.
