Georgian Foreign Minister Hopes EU Negotiations with Azerbaijan and Armenia to Be Success

Georgia`s Foreign Minister Gela Bejuashvili hopes that Azerbaijan and Armenia will successfully complete negotiations within the European neighbourhood policy till the signing of the Georgian Plan of Measures with EU.

During the today`s briefing, answering a question whether the lack of consent from the neighbours had its influence on these countries` joining the EU measures plan, that was put by Trend Special Correspondent, the Georgian Minister pointed out that as far as he knows, Armenia has already completed negotiations with EU, and I hope that Azerbaijan could agree with EU till that moment

Mr. Bejuashvili called October 2-3 the date when the Georgian plan of Measures to be signed. Just in this period, the EU three leading countries are expected to visit Georgia within its regional tourney.

Tomorrow, the Georgian Foreign minister will leave Tbilisi for Brussels to officially fix the position of the Georgian Government on its readiness for the plan of measures with EU within the European neighbourhood policy. This political document has a strategic importance to us. The term of the document id 5 years, and the implementation of all the items of the paln has a significance to Georgia`s transferring to the other level of integration with EU, he told.
