Fuad Alasgarov, the head of Department for Work with Law Enforcement Bodies at the Azerbaijani President's Executive Apparat, stated that some changes can be injected into the law on Freedom of Assembly, Trend reports. He noted that the changes will be of technical character.
He added that the Council of Europe Venice Commission published its commentary on the law in Azerbaijan. They state the necessity for changing some items of the law on Freedom of Assembly. Relevant work is underway and the relevant discussion will be continued under the Venice Commission, Alasgarov emphasized.
