Date of Azerbaijan-Pakistan Inter-Governmental Commission for Economic Co-operation Fixed

The initial date of the Azerbaijan-Pakistani Inter-Governmental Commission for Economic Co-operation has been fixed. The meeting is planned to be held on January 29-30 in Islamabad, Trend reports with reference to the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.

The meeting is expected to cover the development of the bilateral co-operation, especially in the economical sphere. The Commission will consider organizing the bilateral visits of the business people to establish closer economic relations.

It should be mentioned that recently the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev confirmed the new composition of the Azerbaijan side of the Commission. According to the order of the State Head, Azerbaijan side is represented by the first Vice Prime Yagub Eyyubov as the co-chairman of the Commission. The composition of the Commission also includes Deputy Minister of Defense Industry, Deputy Foreign Minister, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies, Deputy Minister of Education, Deputy Economic Development Minister, Deputy Minister of Health, Deputy Finance Minister, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and other state bodies representatives. The Pakistani side includes, Nuraziz Shakur Khan, Minister of Natural Resources as the co-chairman of the Commission.
