Partial Amendments to Be Implemented to Administrative Divisions of Ganja City, Kurdamir, Khanlar, and Shamkir Districts of Azerbaijan

A Draft on Moving Partial Amendments into the Administrative Division of Ganja City, Kurdamir, Khanlar, and Shamkir Districts of the Country has been discussed during the today meeting of the Permanent Commission for regional issues of the Milli Majlis (Parliament), Trend reports.

According to the first draft, the village of Dozular of Khanlar District is expected to be separated from the Village Administrative-Territorial Circle of Chayli and turned it into the independent Territorial-Administrative Unit Dozular, as well as to separate the village of Panahlar of Khanlar District from the Vilage territorial-Administrative Circle to the independent Territorial-Administrative Unit of Panahlar.

In addition, the Village Administrative-Territorial Circle of Chayli is suggested to be considered as a village territorial administrative unit. Then it is proposed to separate the settlement of Gizilgaya from the content of the Administrative-Territorial Unit of Khanlar City to a separate settlement administrative-territorial unit with the Centre in Gizilgaya, as well as the introduction of the settlement founded as a part of the village of Gizilgacha called Yeni Gizilcha to the list of the territorial units of the District, and to found the Village Administrative-Territorial Circle with the centre in Yeni Gizilcha.

At the same time its is proposed that 100 hectares of the administrative territory of the village of Gushgara of Khanlar District be handed over to Nizami District of Ganja City. A part of the village of Shilyan of Kurdamir District is proposed to be named as Garasu and to introduce it to the list of the administrative-territorial units of the District, as well as a part of the village of Kechili of Shamkir District to be called Khuluf and introduce it in the list of the territorial units of the District, and a part of the village of Tazakand to be called the village of Duzgishlag and also put it into the list of the territorial units of the District.

After the discussions, the Committee decided to discuss the above-mentioned draft in the Milli Majlis.
