UN May Discuss Issue of ‘Frozen Conflicts’ in GUAM Countries at Any Time : Ukrainian Deputy FM

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Agayeva / "The United Nations Organization has the right to discuss any issues that are put on the agenda, if it considers it to be necessary," the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Andrei Vasilevsky, briefed the media in Baku, commenting on the delay of the discussions in the UN regarding the 'frozen conflicts' on the territory of GUAM countries. This is the decision of the members of the organization," he said.

According to the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine, considering the resolution is not a goal. "The task is to create such an atmosphere that the countries related to these and other conflicts or problems feel that the majority does not support them and that they are not correct and should reconsider their positions. It must be understood how it needs to come to a position that satisfies, not only one, but all parties," the Diplomat said.
