Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr I. Alizadeh / The Law on Approval of Garrison and Sentry Duties of Azerbaijani Armed Forces and the Law on Approval of Charter of Internal Service of Azerbaijani Armed Forces will be changed.
The changes have been considered by the Azerbaijani Permanent Parliamentary Commission on Security and Defense and the decision to discuss the changes at a plenary meeting of the parliament has been made.
The legislative initiative providing for changes in the laws was submitted to the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) by President Ilham Aliyev. The projects suggest changing the term 'military secret' into 'State secret'. As the degree of secrecy and the list of the secrets are referred to in the Law on State Secrets, there is no need for the notion of a 'military secret'.
