Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Ilhamgizi / The next rally-march of the Azerbaijani Musavat opposition party will be considered at the meeting of the Administration of the party to be held on the 30th of June, the chairman of the Administration, Sulhaddin Akbar , has reported.
According to Akbar , the authorities of the new regional and city organizations will be adopted during the meeting. The head of the party, Isa Gambar , will deliver a report on the social-political situation in the country. Decisions on the political processes will be made.
Akbar noted that the issue of long protest actions was still open. The decision to hold the protest actions in the summer will be made at the meeting. Participation of the Musavat in the talks on the establishment of a new opposition political organization will also be discussed.
Opposition Musavat party was founded in the beginning of the 20th century and was restored in 1992. The head of the party, Isa Gambar , was the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament in 1992-93 and ran for presidency in 2003. The Musavat is represented in the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani parliament) by five MPs.
