Trend E.Huseynov / The Interior Minister of Azerbaijan, General-Colonel, Ramil Usubov, said on 30 June that there will be no delays in appointing the new Chief of Baku Head Police Department. According to him, the leading authorized employees and Deputy Chief of the Department are on their duty and their activity is controlled by the Head of the Interior Ministry. The Department is functioning as previous and the fight is successfully continuing against the criminality, the Interior Minister said. He stressed that there may be various versions regarding the appointment of the new chief. The Minister said that the chief will be appointed in necessary time.
The Chief of Baku Head Police Department, Maharram Aliyev, was dismissed through his own wish.
