Heydar Aliyev Foundation Welcomes Existence of Azerbaijani Ethno-Cultural Schools in   Moscow: Leyla Aliyeva

Russia, Moscow /corr. Trend R.Agayev/ Heydar Aliyev Foundation welcomes existence of the Azerbaijani ethno-cultural schools in Moscow and will provide all kinds of necessary support for their development, said the Head of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation's Moscow Office, Leyla Aliyeva, during the ceremony on the 10th anniversary of the establishment of secondary school No 157 in Moscow, which has an Azerbaijani ethno-cultural component.

Making a speech in the jubilee ceremony, Leyla Aliyeva spoke of one of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation's activity directions forwarded developing education system in Azerbaijan. According to her, only over the past three years, some 200 new modern schools have been constructed in Azerbaijan through the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. In addition, she highlighted the necessity of developing relations between Azerbaijani and Russian schools, devising joint education projects, as well as continuing co-operation in this regard.

On the eve of the jubilee, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, issued an order conferring rank of 'Honored pedagogue of Azerbaijan' up on the director of school, Aida Guliyeva. The Head of Baku Education Department, Naila Rzaguliyeva, presented medals and certificate of 'Honored pedagogue of Azerbaijan' to Aida Guliyeva. Moreover, six teachers of the school were awarded the honored diploma '' of the Education Ministry of Azerbaijan.

In addition, the jubilee ceremony was attended by the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia, Polad Bulbuoglu, Deputy Perfect of the northern region of Moscow, Alexander Ashmarin, Deputy Head of Moscow Education Department, Yuri Goryachev.
