On May 1, the meeting of the Azerbaijan Football Federations Association (AFFA) Appeal and Expert Committee decided to send the Baku Neftchi club's complaint to the Disciplinary Committee (DC) for re-consideration.
Neftchi appealed to the AFFA DC to annul a yellow card, which Head Referee Rovshan Ahmadov showed to the club's footballer Dmitriy Kruglova at the Neftchi-Karabakh match of the 23rd round on April 26 and punish the referee, as well as disqualify Karabakh's forward Zaur Ramazanov for one match. The DC decided that the head referee correctly showed a yellow card at that moment. Therefore, Neftchi appealed to the AFFA management and asked to re-consider the DC's decision at the appeal and expert committee on April 29.
