Azerbaijani students held a protest action in front of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan.

About 100 students protested in connection with the report entitled "Drug Control Strategy - 2010" of the U.S. State Department.

The report of the State Department spread on March 2 said that about 30-35 percent of students are drug addicts in Azerbaijan.

"The report says that there are about 300,000 drug addicts. About 30-35 percent of them are students. If one considers that there are about 140,000 students in Azerbaijan. Some reports about 100,000 drug addicts are simply absurd," Baku State University Student Union chairman Dashgyn Ganbarov said.
